 When a girl decided to keep a dog as her pet, she hadn’t imagined even in her wildest dreams the sight she witnessed. The incident proved to be memorable for the girl and her family. Surely, after reading this story you’ll get prepared to expect the strangest of the sights involving your pet dog.

A Brazilian family

This incident took place at Amanda Sena’s house. She lives in Brazil with her family and is fond of dogs from a very small age. Her family totally supported her decision of bringing a dog home, as her parents wanted their daughter to just be happy. As a matter of fact, they had also come to the realization of bringing a pet home.

A Daunting Task               

Well, Amanda was very happy after seeking affirmation from her parents. But, soon she realized that she hadn’t planned on the type of dog she wanted. Dogs are of various breeds, the reason why Amanda was left perplexed. So, which dog did she choose?

A Rottweiler

The type of dog Amanda settled on was a Rottweiler. The reason being that they are extremely obedient and are known for their devotion towards their owner. Yeah, Amanda needed to take care of the fact that their black or tan short hairs demand a lot of care. Obviously, Amanda being a dog lover was ready to take care of it all. Couldn’t Say No

After Amanda made the decision of taking a Rottweiler puppy back home, the dog lover in her came out and she couldn’t control herself from taking two instead of one. They both looked so cute to her that she was unable to say “no” to taking only one of them.

Meet Apolo And Angel

Amanda decided to name her adorable puppies Apolo and Angel. One thing that the family realized very quickly after the puppies had spent a month in the house that, though, they were very cute but were also equally smart and difficult to handle. You won’t believe what these puppies were capable of doing.

When asked about her dogs, Amanda said,“They help each other be naughty, when I think I’ve seen it all, they still manage to surprise me.” Amanda’s statement only solidifies by the fact that the puppies have even learned to open doors and one can just imagine how big a problem this can create. Four Months Old

Amanda recalls that the puppies grew more naughty with time. But, it was when they were 4 months old that they did something which became a cause of worry for everybody in the family.Their playfulness now seemed too much to handle.

A Friend In House

Amanda told that the incident took place when she was with a friend of hers. Her friend had come to visit her house after a long time. But, in the end, it proved to be a very memorable visit for her as it was not long that both of them started hearing strange sounds.

Investigated

Both Amanda and her friend were baffled to hear strange voices coming from a room in their houses. Both Apolo and Angel were also nowhere to be seen. So, the girls decided to carefully go to the room and examine what had happened.

A Strange Discovery

The girls were on their way to investigate the room. But, while on their way they discovered the shreds of a paper flower which were spread all across the yard. Both of them were already confused and this sight only added to it, as they were not able to comprehend what had happened in the house.

A Keepsake

The paper flower they saw actually, belonged to Amanda’s sister. Amanda recalled that she had used it to celebrate a Hawaii-themed birthday. She liked it very much and decided to keep it as a remembrance of the fun they had on the birthday.

The Dogs Appeared

Suddenly, both the girls saw the two puppies running and it seemed as if they were making a break for something. Amanda and her friend made a run towards them and it didn’t take the girls much time to catch the running puppies. What the girls saw next cleared the clouds of suspicion to some extent.

Were They The Culprit

“It was the biggest mess,” Amanda said. “I asked my friend to go after them to see if there was anything in their mouths.” But, instead of finding something in their mouth, there was something else that they witnessed which blew their mind. Now, they were getting a hold of what had happened…

Pink Tongues

Yes, the image you are seeing is not a hoax. The girls were also shocked to see this sight.They started thinking about what could be the possible reason for the dogs’ pink tongue. It didn’t take them long to solve the mystery, as the pink tongue was itself the biggest evidence of the whole mess.

What Had Happened?

Well, it was the pink dye from the paper flower whose shreds the girls had found a little earlier which had colored the puppies tongue in pink. Poor puppies could not escape as the evidence was right on their body. Now, the girls had no reason to speculate who the culprit was and what had happened.

No Regrets

The best part for the girls was to witness the fact that the puppies were not at all sorry for what they had done. “They did not regret a thing,” Amanda said. “They stuck out their tongues and just wanted to play more.”

Were They In Danger?

Amanda didn’t waste a single minute in calling the vet. She was worried that the dye could put the puppies’ life at risk. Luckily, the vet arrived and informed that the dye was harmless and as far as the color is concerned,  making the puppies drink a lot of water would help in removing it.

Can’t Be Angry

On being asked, how the family reacted to this incident, Amanda said,”No one had the heart to get angry, their happiness was just too beautiful.” Well, seeing the image of the dogs, one can say that their cuteness can melt anybody’s heart. The family considered it very cute on the dogs’ part.

But, amidst all this one cannot forget the fact that in reality they had caused a mess and destroyed a flower which had sentimental values attached to it. Luckily, Amanda’s sister on whose birthday the flower was brought also took the incident lightly and couldn’t stop laughing.

As a matter of fact, Amanda and her family were now acquainted with the mischief that their puppies did now and then.“We’re already waiting for the next one,” Amanda said. “We knew what we were getting into, so for us, it’s all just fun.”
