Old Lady with Broken Leg Lies Still in Bed, One Night Sees Her Son-in-Law Sneaking into Her Room

Mrs. Perkins, or Lucy, as she preferred to be called, was a kind-hearted woman who had always put her family first. Despite her age, she still enjoyed doing things for her loved ones, which is why she decided to surprise her daughter and son-in-law with groceries one day. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned, and she ended up in the hospital with a broken leg.

The accident left Lucy unable to walk properly, and she had to undergo therapy to try and regain her mobility. All of her pension money went towards her treatment, which left her daughter, Mia, frustrated. Mia was the kind of person who only cared about herself, and she saw her mother's accident as a burden.

When Lucy was finally discharged from the hospital, Mia and her husband, James, took her back to her old home. Lucy knew that Mia no longer wanted to take care of her, and she felt heartbroken. She had always been there for her daughter, and she never thought that she would be abandoned like this.

Despite her situation, Lucy tried to remain positive. James would often visit her and tell her that everything was going to be okay. He was always cheerful and made her feel hopeful, which made her feel grateful. However, as weeks turned into months, Mia and James stopped visiting Lucy. She was left alone, with no one to talk to or help her.

Every day, Lucy would lay in bed, feeling helpless and alone. She would cry and pray that her daughter would come and see her. She would only get up to fix herself a simple meal, even though it was difficult for her to move. While eating, she would sit by the window and wait for somebody to come, but no one ever did.

One particular night, Lucy was awoken by a noise. She opened her eyes to find James sneaking into her room. She was confused and scared. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

James tried to brush it off and said that he was just checking up on her. But Lucy knew that something was off. She could sense that he was up to something.

As the days went by, Lucy couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. She began to notice that things were missing from her home, and she suspected that James was stealing from her. She felt betrayed and violated. How could someone she trusted do this to her?

Lucy knew that she needed to do something about the situation, but she didn't know what. She was afraid to confront James, but she couldn't let him continue to take advantage of her. She decided to call her daughter and tell her what was going on.

Mia was dismissive and didn't believe her mother's accusations. She thought that Lucy was just being paranoid and didn't want to deal with her complaints. Mia was more concerned with her own life and didn't have time for her mother.

Lucy was heartbroken. She couldn't believe that her own daughter didn't believe her. She felt alone and abandoned once again. She knew that she couldn't rely on Mia or James to help her, so she had to take matters into her own hands.

She decided to install a hidden camera in her room to catch James in the act. She didn't tell anyone about it, not even Mia. A few days later, she caught James on camera stealing from her. She had the evidence she needed to prove that he was stealing from her.

Lucy immediately called the police and reported James for theft. The police arrested him, and he was charged with theft and burglary. Mia was shocked and didn't know what to do. She had trusted James and never suspected that he would do something like this.

Lucy felt relieved that justice was served, but she also felt sad that it had

Mrs. Perkins, also known as Lucy, had been living alone in her old home since her daughter Mia and son-in-law James had abandoned her. One night, Lucy woke up to a strange noise, causing her to grip her blanket in fear. She could hear the door to her room creaking open and thought it might be James entering her room. She was afraid to look, but curiosity got the best of her, and she peeked out from under her blanket. She saw James in her room, causing her heart to pound with fear.

Lucy thought James might be there to get rid of her, but then she heard a heavy sound, and she jumped, thinking the worst. She closed her eyes, trying to decide what to do next. When she opened her eyes again, James was gone, and she noticed a walker in her room. Lucy couldn't tell if the events of the night had been real or just a dream, but she decided to go back to sleep.

The next morning, Lucy smelled something delicious and noticed the same walker she had seen the night before. James was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. Lucy was surprised to see him, wondering where Mia was. James revealed that Mia had left him, filing for divorce two months prior, and that he wanted to take care of Lucy as she had been abandoned.

James hired a nurse named Belle to help care for Lucy, and together they looked after her. As time passed, James and Belle grew closer, exchanging stories about their past relationships and hinting at their feelings towards each other. They even began making two cups of coffee instead of one, smiling at each other while interacting with Lucy.

Lucy was grateful to have James and Belle taking care of her. She had been struggling to live alone and was happy to have their company. Despite her daughter abandoning her, Lucy found love and care in the most unexpected place.

Mrs. Perkins was shocked and devastated when her daughter, Mia, left her with her son-in-law, James, and never looked back. She was grateful when James decided to stay and take care of her, but she never imagined that he would fall in love with Belle, the nurse he had hired to help take care of her.

As time passed, James and Belle grew closer, sharing their stories and feelings towards each other, until they finally fell in love. Lucy was overjoyed for them and believed that James deserved to feel loved again, even if it meant not being with her daughter.

One beautiful afternoon, Lucy, James, and Belle were having lunch in the backyard when Mia unexpectedly showed up with her new husband. They were all surprised to see each other, and Mia was shocked to find out that her mother was still alive.

James confronted Mia, accusing her of abandoning her mother and only coming back to check if she was still alive so that they could sell the property. Mia revealed that she had left her husband because he wasn't wealthy enough and had found a new man who could provide for her every need.

James was furious at her callousness and told her to leave, reminding her that Mrs. Perkins was in a good place now and that Mia had no intention of being in her life. Mia left, scoffing at James and Belle as they held hands.

After Mia's departure, Lucy expressed her gratitude to James for taking care of her and helping her find love with Belle. James promised to continue to take care of her and to make sure that she was happy and healthy.

Over the years, James and Belle continued to care for Mrs. Perkins, and their love for each other only grew stronger. They got married in a beautiful ceremony in the backyard, surrounded by their loved ones, including Mrs. Perkins, who was overjoyed to see her son-in-law so happy.

In the end, James and Belle decided to move to a new home, but they made sure that Mrs. Perkins was well taken care of, visiting her often and keeping her in their hearts. Mrs. Perkins lived out the rest of her days surrounded by the love of her family, grateful for the second chance at happiness that James and Belle had given her.
